Product Detail:

Alloy grinding steel shot is an innovative product derived from traditional high-carbon, low-carbon, and low-vanadium steel shot. Recognizing the inherent limitations of these predecessor products, such as the presence of air holes, cracks, and inconsistent hardness, our R&D center has developed alloy grinding steel shot by refining casting techniques. This allows for the selection of optimal materials tailored to specific applications, ensuring a cost-effective solution that varies in price according to the intended use. The result is a product with an extended lifespan and high cost-performance ratio.

Available in three distinct hardness grades - 45-50 HRC, 50-55 HRC, and 55-60 HRC - alloy grinding steel shots cater to a wide range of requirements. Their sizes span from 0.20mm to 2.50mm, offering versatility in various industrial applications. Our shots adhere to rigorous standards, including SAE J441, AMS 2431, and VDFI 8001, ensuring quality and reliability in every batch.

Why choose Alloy Grinding Shot

①  It is crafted from forged steel wire, eliminating the issues of air holes, cracks, and inconsistencies in hardness that are commonly found in other materials. This ensures a superior product with a uniform and reliable quality.

We can select different steel wire as raw materials based on specific requirements, ensuring our products meet the unique needs of each application.

The grinding shot possesses enhanced resilience, resulting in a lifespan that is 150% longer compared to conventional steel shot, demonstrating its improved durability and longevity.

The workpiece subjected to polishing with grinding shot attains a silver-white appearance, whereas the surface cleaned using carbon steel shot exhibits a darker gray hue.

The polishing effect achieved with Grinding shot surpasses that of cast steel shot, negating the necessity for secondary polishing. Consequently, the workpiece roughness conforms to the desired specifications, underscoring its enhanced polishing capabilities.

The elimination of air holes, cracks, and increased resistance to breakage in abrasive forging Grinding shot contributes to several advantages during blasting operations. These include reduced filling requirements, diminished dust generation, lower labor intensity, and a mitigated environmental impact, thereby enhancing overall process efficiency and sustainability.
